Reinstalled windows and now it’s telling me my C drive is on 5gigs, When i know for a fact that it’s full capacity if 40 gigs. Any help?
How did you "reinstall" Windows ?
Did you install Windows ontop of an existing installation ? The existing files would have been "saved" for backup purposes, so the "new" installation would then occupy whatever space was left. You probably have a lot of music or video files, so those take up a lot of space too.
The best thing to do is fully erase your harddrive, then do a Windows installation. Then you would have more hard drive space available.
But what do you do if you have data you want to keep ? Take out the existing hard drive, get another harddrive (used 40G drives are cheap), fully erase that harddrive, then install Windows.
Get a USB-to-harddrive adapterd connect your old hard drive to the adapter. Turn on power to the adapter, then plug the USB cable into your computer, and you can get all your data off the old harddrive, and then erase the old harddrive and use it for backups !
